Jens Schellhase

Born in Magdeburg, I now live in Cologne. As a creative designer and web expert, I develop digital and analog solutions that combine aesthetics and functionality. Additionally, I create illustrations upon request.

Life in the city, running, and my passion for cooking, art, and enjoyment in general continually inspire me anew. I have been drawing since my childhood, and I wrote my first small programs in elementary school—creativity and technology have shaped me to this day.

After studying design in Düsseldorf (which I completed as a Dipl. BA Communication Designer), I worked briefly as an in-house designer at a renowned auction house. In 2011, I co-founded the creative agency Gegendesign with a good friend before transitioning to full-time freelancing in 2013.

Since then, I have accompanied numerous well-known clients in digital design and continuously expanded my offerings to include illustrations. Travel is a great source of inspiration for me—I have been to Tokyo, New York, Chicago, Hong Kong, Paris, Berlin, and Warsaw, among other places.
