Karlsruhe is part of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network – a city where media art plays a central cultural role. The platform supports international exchange, promotes local creatives, and serves as a digital stage for artists, exhibitions, events, and open calls in and beyond Karlsruhe.

I was responsible for the design and development of the website. The goal was to create a highly flexible and scalable platform that presents extensive content while remaining responsive, accessible, and data-efficient.
At the core of the visual identity is a typographic concept that playfully integrates the idea of media art through automatically generated, color-coded initials – creating a subtle but distinctive design system that reflects the project’s creative focus.
Since its launch, the site has grown steadily and now reaches significantly more monthly visitors. It continues to evolve as a vibrant hub for media art and creative exchange.
