Old postage stamps and philatelic documents are highly sought-after and valuable collectibles. When the experts at Philatelic Experts approached me for support in establishing a new certification association specializing in this field, I immediately agreed.
Philatelic Experts
The corporate design revolved entirely around the logo as its central element. At the heart of the logo was a watchful, inspecting eye, illustrated in traditional intaglio printing – a hallmark of classic stamp production. The choice of yellow as the primary color was a deliberate decision, inspired by the signature color of Deutsche Post, always with an eye on differentiation from competitors.
A crucial part of the design was the creation of a certificate verifying the authenticity of these precious collectibles. For this, I designed intricate guilloches, which, together with other security features, were printed in the highest quality to ensure forgery resistance.
Finally, a lightweight, contemporary website was developed, allowing Philatelic Experts to stand out within the landscape of other certification organizations.
